USA ITINERARY for May-June 2012

Day 1         Fly to New York Begin your ‘All of USA’ Tour.                 

Hotel Transfer There is time (on your own) to browse through the many shops dotting New York’s famed Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, or just stroll through the streets of central Manhattan. Overnight at your hotel in New York.

 

Day 2       Guided City Tour of New York Visit the Statue of Liberty Visit the ‘Top of the Rock’ Observatory Deck at the Rockefeller Centre

Today after an Indian breakfast, enjoy a guided panoramic city tour of New York. See the wonderful sights of this exciting city – 5th Avenue, United Nations Building and New York’s lungs – the beautiful Central Park and much more. Later we drive to Battery Park and take a ferry to Liberty Island to see the famous American icon of freedom – The Statue of Liberty. En route we get an opportunity to pay homage to the hundreds of innocent lives lost at what was once the World Trade Centre, now more easily recognized as Ground Zero. Later, visit ‘Top of the Rock’ at Rockefeller Centre. At the Observatory Deck, see a different perspective of New York from 70 floors above. The 360* view of the cityscape makes the ‘Top of the Rock’ a must see. Overnight at your hotel in New York. (B, D)  We do not do tours with Indian breakfasts.  Hotel offer full american or deluxe continental.  let me know if it will work? dinners must be Indian or any will do?  does it has to be vegetarian?  Do they have a tour leader or will they need a local guide in each city (if they need a local guide in each city it will make the tour for 20 pax very expensive).  They will need a tour leader to deal with transportation and check in. Full American Breakfast will do, diners any will do, I will be escorting the tour so I will be the Tour Leader, we do not need a local guide.

 

Day 3       Onto Washington DC Guided City Tour of Washington DC

Today, we check out of our hotel and after an Indian breakfast, we proceed to Washington DC. See the picturesque countryside as we drive through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, heading southwards to the capital of the United States. On arrival, we take you on a guided city tour of Washington DC. We start at the National Air and Space Museum, where you get a unique opportunity of viewing aircraft models and displays like the Wright Brothers first aircraft and Lindberg’s ‘Spirit of St Louis’. Later, we see the Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and Capitol Hill. Also see the White House, home of the US President. (Due to security reasons permission to go near or enter the White House is not available). Overnight at your hotel in Washington DC. (B, D)

 

Day 4       Onto Niagara Niagara by Night

Today, we check out of our hotel and drive to Niagara, the city famous for Niagara Falls. Upon arrival we check into the heritage Barton Hill Hotel and Spa, located in the charming and historic village of Lewiston. Enjoy the natural beauty, as the class 5 rapids of the Niagara river Gorge flow’s across this beautiful property. Enjoy an Indian dinner in the comfort of your hotel. This evening, experience the majesty and tranquility of the splendorous Niagara Falls by night. See the Falls magically lit-up, an awe – inspiring sight. Overnight at your hotel in Niagara. (B, D)  this is a 10 hours drive.  do you want to do it in one day? I leave it up to you, whatever you feel is best for the group you can make the necessary  amendments.

 

Day 5       ‘Maid of the Mist’ Boat Ride

Today, experience the exhilarating force of the falls as we take the ‘Maid of the Mist’ boat ride into the heart of the mighty Horseshoe Falls. It’s a fantastic journey through crashing waters surrounded by massive rock formations. (Due to weather conditions, the ‘Maid of the Mist’ operates only from the last week of May. All tours visiting Niagara before the last week of May will take a ride on the View Mobile Tram). Enjoy an Indian dinner in the comfort of your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Niagara. (B, D)

 

Day 6        Fly to Orlando

Today, we check out of our hotel and drive to the airport for our flight to Orlando. On arrival, we proceed to the Prime Outlet shopping mall where you can shop for branded merchandise at specially discounted prices for SOTC customer’s, before checking into the luxurious Swan and Dolphin Resort at Walt Disney World. The resort is located between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios which holds 17 spectacular restaurants and lounges, five pools, a white sand beach, two health clubs, tennis, golf and many special Disney benefits, including complimentary transportation to all Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and Attractions, and exclusive Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks. The afternoon is free for you to explore the Down Town Disney area, featuring more than 70 shopping and entertainment choices including the largest Disney character store in the world. Dinner at Indian restaurant Overnight at your hotel in Orlando. (B, D)

 

Day 7       Visit to Magic Kingdom

Today, we take you to Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Welcome to a land where fantasy blends into reality. Meet all your favorite Disney characters – Mickey, Donald, Pluto… Watch the musical spectacular titled ‘Cindrellabrations’ at Cinderella’s Castle as Cinderella is crowned a princess. Take a Jungle Cruise in Adventure Land or a roller Coaster ride on the ‘Big Thunder Mountain’ at Frontier Land. See all the Presidents of the United States come alive in an amazing presentation at the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square. Experience a different America in a journey of ‘Tomorrow Land’. Re-live all your childhood dreams at ‘Fantasy Land’. Explore the lost worlds on the ‘Nautilus’ submarine in ‘20,000 Leagues under the sea’. Enter the ‘Space Mountain’ and take an amazing roller coaster ride. See the brand new attraction ‘Stitch’s Great Escape’. Dinner at Indian restaurant Overnight at your hotel in Orlando. (B, D)

 

Day 8       Epcot: Innovation and Imagination!

Today, we take you to Epcot to celebrate fascinating cultures and numerous wonders of the world around you, through dazzling shows, interactive experiences and amazing attractions. Walk around and enjoy culture, cuisine, shops and worldclass entertainment of 11 different countries in the World Showcase. Step into the Future World showing you man’s latest inventions. Enter the hair-raising world of auto testing on one of the longest, fastest rides at ‘Test Track’. Strap yourself in to race up bumpy terrain, roar through hair-pin turns, speed into freezing cold chambers, and rush on to 50° curves at 60 miles an hour. Train to be an astronaut at ‘Mission Space’ – the ultimate interactive thrill-packed adventure, as close as you can get to blasting off into space. Go on a daring cosmic mission dodging meteors and navigating nebulae or opt for a less intense galactic adventure. See the hysterically funny adventure show ‘Honey, I shrunk the Audience’. In the evening, see the fabulous illumination show with, lights, fireworks and music. Dinner at Indian restaurant Overnight at your hotel in Orlando. (B, D)

 

Day 9     Welcome aboard ‘Norwegian Sky’ cruise to Bahamas

Today, we check out of our hotel and drive to Port Miami where you board the luxurious cruise liner ‘Norwegian Sky’. Your Cruise ship is a floating luxury liner and offers movies, live entertainment, a discotheque, casino, swimming pool, nightclub shows and more. There is a special playroom to delight the kids. And there are pool parties, singalongs, plenty of food and ice creams. For the adults, there’s a wide choice of fun activities like bingo, wine tasting, aerobics, roulette, waltzing and reggae. You can enjoy fine dining on board your luxury cruise. Enjoy a good night’s sleep in your cabin as your luxury ship ‘Norwegian Sky’ sails towards Great Stirrup Cay. (B, D)

 

Day 10    Great Stirrup Cay Island

Enjoy a luxurious breakfast either in the comfort of your cabin or by the poolside on board the ‘Norwegian Sky’. On arrival at Great Stirrup Cay Island, Beachcomb the sparkling sands and swim in the clear blue waters of Norwegian Cruise Line’s very own private island paradise. Enjoy a delicious surfside barbecue prepared just for you as you relax upon a powder-soft beach that is absolutely perfect for a lazy day of fun in the sun. Later, your luxury ship sails from v to Nassau. Enjoy the Las Vegas style entertainment, novelty shows, dance away at the disco or try your luck at the casino. Day 11   Nassau – Capital of the Bahamas

This morning you can have a luxurious breakfast either in the comfort of your cabin or by the poolside on board the cruise as your luxury ship sails into Nassau. Visit old Nassau, admire its colonial architecture and picturesque attractions. Shop at the famous straw market for bone china, glassware and perfumes or visit Nassau’s many specialty boutiques on Bay Street. In the evening, your luxury ship sails out to Port Miami. Participate in the many entertainment activities on board your luxury liner. Enjoy a good night’s sleep in the comfort of your cabin. (B, L, D)

 

Day 12    Disembark the ‘Norwegian Sky’ Fly to Las Vegas Illumination Night tour of Las Vegas on a Stretch Hummer Limousine Ride on the ‘Eiffel Tower’

Enjoy a luxurious breakfast on board. As your ship arrives at Port Miami, the ‘Norwegian Sky ‘ crew bids you farewell. On completion of your immigration and customs formalities, we drive to the airport for your flight to Las Vegas. On arrival check into the hotel. Later, proceed on an Illumination Night Tour on a Stretch Hummer Limousine. See Las Vegas – celebrity style. Sit back in the luxurious comfort of your Hummer Limousine and watch the twinkling lights, be awed by the huge neon signs as you see the famous landmarks – New York skyline, Bellagio fountains, the Pyramid, which are some of the many facades of the different hotels along the ‘Las Vegas Strip’ as we make our way to down town Las Vegas for the Freemont Street Experience. Here you see a dazzling display on the world’s largest TV screen with over a million light bulbs covering three city blocks! Take a ride on the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower, right here in Las Vegas for a bird’s eye view of the shimmering strip. Overnight at your hotel in Las Vegas. (B, D)

 

Day 13                                                                                                  Free Day Suggested : Visit to the Grand Canyon Visit the Jubilee Show

After an Indian breakfast the day is free. Enjoy exploring Las Vegas on your own. Visit the Las Vegas Strip and try your luck at one of the many casinos. Let Lady Luck smile on you and may you walk out a winner. Or we suggest you visit the Grand Canyon for once in a lifetime experience. Choose any one of the exciting tours. There’s an option of the Coach tour, Highlights Air Tour, the Air and Ground Tour, Air and Ground tour with Boat and Helicopter with an add-on option of Skywalk. Experience the full depth of the beauty, colour and majesty of the ravines and cliffs as you fly over the Grand Canyon on the Air and Ground Tour. You will board a helicopter and descend to the bottom of the Canyon. There you will board a pontoon boat for a Colorado River excursion. Return to the top of the Canyon rim via helicopter on your Air and Ground Helicopter cum boat tour. The ‘Grand Canyon Skywalk’. As you walk up the U Platform made of glass, experience the exhilaration of standing in the middle of Grand Canyon, with the canyon floor 2,000 feet below you and the other side of the canyon 3 miles in front! Later, we have a fun filled evening with a visit to the ‘Jubilee Show’. Las Vegas is famous for its top rated world class entertainment and the ‘Jubilee’ at the Bally’s Hotel, show cases America’s best talent. The spectacular cabaret is a must see for all visitors. Day 14       Drive to Los Angeles

Today, we check out of our hotel and after an Indian breakfast, drive to Los Angeles. Enroute, we take you to the most famous and well maintained 3.5 miles long Californian beach – Santa Monica. On arrival in Los Angeles we proceed for dinner and later check into our hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Los Angeles. (B, D)

Today, we join the Hollywood stars at the famous Universal Studios. Relax in the comfort of a tram car as it takes you behind the scenes to show you how Hollywood makes movies. Enter Jurassic Park, where you will journey deep into the Jurassic jungle. Experience the first-ever mega-attraction based on the blockbuster TV series, The Simpsons. Featuring the show’s classic humor and many of its instantly recognizable characters – all voiced by the original actors Join Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona in Shrek 4D, an all new adventure which picks up where the Oscar winning movie ‘Shrek’ left off and puts you inside the action! Enjoy the newest rides ‘Revenge of the Mummy’ inspired by the acclaimed Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘The Mummy’.Take a terrifying journey through a real ancient Egyptian tomb and be dazzled by this most exciting ride ever created for a theme park. Later, we take you on a panoramic tour of Los Angeles. See the famous landmarks of this city – Mann’s Chinese Theatre, Walk of Fame, Sunset Boulevard and the magnificent Beverly Hills. Day 17      Drive to San Francisco

Today, we check out of our hotel and drive to San Francisco. On arrival, check into the hotel. The evening is free to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s Wharf on your own. Later we proceed to Indian Restaurant for Dinner Overnight at your hotel in San Francisco. (B, D)

 

Day 18     Winery Tour at Napa Valley Guided City Tour & Sunset Dinner Bay Cruise in San Francisco

Today, after breakfast drive to Napa valley. Northern California is America’s wine country and today we get an opportunity of visiting a winery in the famous Napa Valley. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of San Francisco, as your guide points out landmarks and shares the history of San Francisco with you. See the famous Golden Gate Bridge, the world’s longest single span suspended bridge and a symbol of San Francisco. Visit The Twin Peaks, which offer a spectacular view of downtown San Francisco. See Telegraph Hill, Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman’s Wharf. In the evening board the famous Golden Gate Bay Sunset dinner Cruise. Your visit to San Francisco is not complete without a cruise on the San Francisco Bay, the largest inlet on the Californian Coast. Enjoy your dinner and the great sights, as our cruise takes us under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz island and past the city skyline. Overnight at your hotel in San Francisco. (B, D)

 

Day 19      Return Home with Wonderful Memories

Today, after breakfast, the morning is free for you to explore the city on your own. Later, we check out of our hotel and proceed to the airport for your flight back home.)
